Instant Pot Blueberry Jam!

Instant Pot Blueberry Jam
Instant Pot Blueberry Jam

When I was younger I would go blueberry and blackberry picking with my grandpa. I would wear shorts like he told me not to, and I would always come back with scratches and stings/bites all over my legs and about 2 gallon of berries. I loved walking up in the woods, it felt like an adventure. This is one of my favorite memories with my grandpa.

I LOVE berries, any kind of berries, I will eat them. Another thing I love is the instant pot, it makes my life SO much easier, and it makes things taste delicious! So the fact that I can preserve my berries in this pot with 2 ingredients makes it that much better! This recipe is super easy, and tastes amazing! It also isn't super sweet and is naturally sweetened with honey, so that is a plus!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 quart (1 l) fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup (240 ml) honey

Instructions

  1. Place the honey in the pot of your instant pot and turn on sauté.
Heat until honey is melted, it should take 1-2 minutes
Add in washed blueberries and stir to coat.
Place the lid on the instant pot, and place on manual high pressure for 2 minutes
After the time is up, let the pot naturally release.
When you can open the lid. Press the “stop” button, and then turn your pot on sauté mode once more and let the water boil off. This took about 10 minutes for fresh berries.
After your jam is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon, remove from the pot and place in a jar. Let cool completely and store in the refrigerator and enjoy!
