I am fairly new to the instant pot, but I have to say it is a game changer!! Especially if you have kids, it is AMAZING!! It has also helped a lot with my bakery! This caramel sauce is by far the EASIEST thing I have ever made! It tastes just like the sauce I would stand over the stove for 30-45 minutes to make! All you need is ONE ingredient, yes ONE!!! Super cheap and super yummy, that's my kind of recipe!
Ingredients:
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
you will also need an instant pot, or similar pressure cooker.
Instructions:
Remove the labels from your condensed milk cans, you can probably fit 3-4 cans at a time! I done 3 this time! You can also remove the milk from the cans and put into canning jars! Place them on the trivet in your pot and completely cover with water.
Place the lid on your pot and close the valve. Set your pot to custom for 30 minutes! If you want a darker caramel, set it for a longer time. I wouldn't go over 50 minutes tho. When the timer beeps, let the pressure release naturally. Once you can open your pot, remove the jars (CAREFUL THEY ARE SUPER HOT!!) and place them on a cooling rack or towel. Once they are cool enough to touch, open them and give them a quick stir. Store in the fridge until you are ready to use!
This sauce is awesome for ice cream, cupcakes, apples, or just eat it with a spoon it is so yummy!!!
Comment below and let me know how it worked out for you!! I am telling you it is the easiest thing you will ever make!!

I want to make this and I have a brand new instant pot sitting on a kitchen shelf I've never used. That's why I'm asking this before I jump in and cause a catastrophe. You did say that I could remove the labels from the cans and put them in the pot, right? If that's the case would I do that for the same length of time as the canning jars?
